Erika is an Associate with CNL Law Firm. She is a firm believer in getting to know a client’s priorities based on the unique circumstances of each client. In this sensitive area of law, Erika brings calm compassion to each client she represents. She takes the time to answer questions in a manner that is easy to understand, so that clients have clear expectations about next steps and what options are available over the course of the case.
As a former prosecutor specializing in financial crimes, including those against at-risk adults, Erika excels in reviewing and understanding extensive financial records. Having negotiated settlements, as well as going to trial in complex financial cases, Erika has excellent case analysis skills. She was recognized as Prosecutor of the Year in 2014 by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators.
Prior to practicing law, Erika worked in the real estate industry in both lending and title insurance capacities. Her business experience contributes to Erika’s big picture perspective in the cases she handles.
Erika earned both her M.B.A. and J.D. from the University of Denver. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Arapahoe County Bar Association, and has held leadership roles in the Aurora Bar Association.
