With a career spanning family law, criminal defense, and transactional real estate, Jason understands the importance of integrity, professionalism, and trust in the attorney-client relationship. Jason’s journey to becoming an attorney began in a small town in Kentucky, where he learned the values of hard work and community. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Western Kentucky University in 1993 and went on to complete his law degree at the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1996. After being admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2000, Jason began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney for the Sixth Judicial District in Durango, Colorado.

He later practiced general law in the San Luis Valley, an experience that further reinforced his commitment to practicing law with integrity and professionalism.

After moving back to Colorado’s Front Range, Jason transitioned into transactional real estate before finding his passion in family law and criminal defense. This shift allowed him to blend his legal expertise with his dedication to helping individuals and families during pivotal moments in their lives. Jason’s approach is rooted in empathy and a deep understanding of his clients’ unique circumstances, ensuring personalized and effective solutions tailored to their needs.

Jason’s career took a transformative pause in 2023 when he embarked on a solo world trip, visiting 24 countries and the principality of Monaco. The 14-month journey broadened his perspective, deepened his appreciation for global cultures, and re-energized him for his legal career. Returning to Colorado in July 2024, Jason is ready to bring his renewed passion and insight to The CNL Law Firm, where he is committed to guiding clients through the legal process with compassion and professionalism.
